Zat Knight made the breakthrough for Bolton with his first goal of the season to give the hosts a half-time lead.

The defender struck in stoppage-time from close range after Chung-Yong Lee had set up the opening.

It was Bolton’s first goal in six Barclays Premier League fixtures and came after a spell of intense pressure in an open and entertaining match.
