in Premier League News

Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho made a triumphant return to Stamford Bridge after striker Samuel Eto’o sent the Special One’s former club out of the Champions League.

Mourinho barely celebrated when Eto’o raced through and extended Inter’s 2-1 advantage from the first leg, while Chelsea ended up with Didier Drogba sent off and were left pointing to two first-half decisions when they were denied penalties after wrestling in the area.

home record

After such a fine home record while manager of Chelsea – he lost once to Charlton Athletic on penalties and once outright to Barcelona – Mourinho’s side produced a clinical performance to reach the last eight of Europe’s top club competition 3-1 on aggregate.
