Arsenal and Manchester United will aim to enhance their Barclays Premier League title credentials as they meet in a mouth-watering fixture at the Emirates Stadium.
In the day’s other match, bottom club Portsmouth bid to become the first visitors this season to win at Manchester City.
Man City v Portsmouth
Manchester City are unbeaten at Eastlands this season, dropping just six points in front of their own fans.
Portsmouth have taken just one point from a possible 15 on the road and have not won a league match at Manchester City in 15 visits since August 1963.
City have scored in their last 20 home fixtures and if they find the net against Pompey, it will be their best scoring sequence since 1958.
Arsenal v Man Utd
Arsenal are unbeaten in 10 league matches, taking 24 points. They are the division’s top scorers but their goalless draw at Aston Villa was their first of the season.
Manchester United are unbeaten in their last four league matches against the Gunners but have not won at the Emirates in the Barclays Premier League.
Arsene Wenger is chasing his 300th win as a Premier League manager. Victory against United would see him become only the second manager to reach this milestone after Sir Alex Ferguson who is currently on 438.
