There are two re-arranged Barclays Premier League fixtures on Wednesday night.
First Owen Coyle oversees his second match as Bolton Wanderers manager in a quickfire return meeting with Arsenal.
Victory for the Gunners will see them move level on points with Barclays Premier League leaders Chelsea and possibly overhaul them on goal difference.
Meanwhile Liverpool host Tottenham Hotspur in a match which could have a major bearing on the race for a Champions League place. Victory would see the Merseysiders close to within a point of their London rivals.
Both of these fixtures were recently postponed after falling victim to the icy weather.
Arsenal v Bolton
Coyle will take charge of his second match as Bolton manager against Arsenal.
His first was also against the Gunners, ending with a 0-2 defeat at the Reebok Stadium on Sunday.
The Gunners have now won their last seven matches against Bolton, scoring 16 goals in the process.
Bolton have won just one of their last 20 league visits to London. The Trotters have not kept a clean sheet in 21 matches since 9th May.
Liverpool v Spurs
Liverpool are desperate to get their campaign back on track after losing at home to Reading in the FA Cup - and letting slip a lead in the last minute at Stoke City on Saturday.
However they did win their two previous league outings and will be keen to avenge their defeat at White Hart Lane on the opening weekend of the season.
They will find Tottenham a tough test though with Harry Redknapp’s men unbeaten in four on the road and undefeated in their last six matches in all competitions – without conceding a goal. If they keep a clean sheet at Anfield they will set a Premier League club record of six in a row.
Spurs have taken 11 points from a possible 15 but were disappointed to be held 0-0 at home by Hull City in Redknapp’s 500th Premier League match as a manager.
Liverpool have won five and drawn two of their last eight at home and are unbeaten in their last 15 Anfield meetings with Tottenham since August 1993.
